In 2017 Medic-CE undertook a huge project to update and completely revamp our Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) Critical Care Transport Review Program. After almost 12 months of work, we are thrilled to announce that the new program is ready for release!
This updated program was built in collaboration with two phenomenal critical care providers from our education and advisory board teams: Brian Boucher, NRP, FP-C and Janet Taylor, RN, CFRN. The changes focused on updating curriculum to bring it in line with the latest and greatest in evidence-based EMS medicine and to provide the very best user experience with new images and other student resources.
“Our Critical Care Paramedic Transport Review program is designed to prepare students for the critical care paramedic and the flight paramedic certification exams,” said Andrew Steward, Medic-CE Director of Continuing Education. “We’ve focused on building a program that provides that clinical education necessary to prepare for the exams or provide a quality refresher for those who need to earn the CE hours required for recertification.”
Medic-CE’s Critical Care Paramedic Transport Review program offers students a number of benefits:
- Learn from the best. Classes are all taught live by experts in critical care transport medicine. Our curriculum is CAPCE and BCCTPC accredited and accepted as an F5 course by NREMT.
- Delivery format. Online! 24 2-hour virtual instructor-led training modules that you can take from a computer, tablet, or phone based on when you’re available and they are offered.
- Train when it’s convenient for you. The live classes are offered at a variety of times to give you lots of options. You can train when it works for your schedule from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
- Graduate certification-exam ready. When you graduate you’ll be ready to take the CC-P or FP-C exams and become nationally certified as a critical care or flight paramedic!
Again, this program is also an excellent option if you’re already CC-P or FC-P certified and you need to earn refresher hours. Our program is NREMT, IBSC, and UMBC accepted.
The new VILT Critical Care Transport Review Program will be available February 5, 2018!
